About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Salesforce testing and deep expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities/Digital Experiences).

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end quality assurance of Experience Cloud portals, working across functional, integration, regression, security, UI, and non-functional testing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and release quality.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Ownership

  • Define and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Salesforce Experience Cloud (B2B/B2C) implementations
  • Test standard templates and custom features built using LWC, Aura, Flows, and Apex

Functional & Integration Testing

  • Validate user journeys such as self-registration, login/SSO, guest access, case creation, knowledge access, and CMS content
  • Test sharing sets, profiles, permission sets, audience targeting, and role-based access

Security & Compliance Testing

  • Validate guest user security and access controls
  • Test sharing rules, profiles, and permission sets
  • Validate Experience Cloud security against common risks (CSRF, XSS, session security)

API & Data Validation

  • Test REST and SOAP integrations between Experience Cloud, Salesforce clouds, and third-party systems
  • Use Postman or ReadyAPI for API validation
  • Perform SOQL-based data validation using Developer Console

Non-Functional Testing

  • Validate performance, responsiveness, and mobile-first behavior
  • Perform accessibility testing aligned with WCAG 2.1 standards
  • Monitor Salesforce governor limits

Release & Deployment Support

  • Support deployments using Change Sets, Copado, or Gearset
  • Perform smoke, regression, and UAT testing
  • Provide quality sign-off with clear metrics

Defect Management & Collaboration

  • Log, track, and manage defects using Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Admins, Developers, and Architects

Must-Have Qualifications

5–6 years of total QA experience with 3+ years in Salesforce testing

Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, including:

  • Site setup and templates (Customer Account Portal, Partner Central, Build Your Own)
  • Navigation, branding, CMS, moderation, and page variations
  • Guest user security, sharing sets, and audience targeting
  • Authentication flows (Self-registration, SSO, SAML, OAuth)

Hands-on testing of LWC, Aura Components, Flows, Approval Processes, and Record-Triggered Flows

Experience with automation tools such as Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, Selenium, Cypress, or WebdriverIO

API testing using Postman (REST/SOAP) with JSON/XML validation

Working knowledge of SOQL and Salesforce Developer Console

Strong understanding of Salesforce security model (Profiles, Permission Sets, OWD, Roles, Sharing Rules)

Experience with Jira/Azure DevOps, Zephyr/Xray/qTest, Git, Salesforce Data Loader

Strong communication and documentation skills

Good-to-Have (Preferred)

Salesforce Certifications (ADM-201, Platform App Builder, Experience Cloud Consultant, Certified Associate)

Exposure to Salesforce CI/CD (Copado, Gearset, SFDX, Scratch Orgs)

Experience with Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Knowledge, Digital Engagement, or B2B Commerce

Performance testing using JMeter or k6

Accessibility testing using axe or Lighthouse

Experience with localization and internationalization testing
