DXC Technologies is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our team and support operational initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, reports, and dashboards to drive insightful analytics and enhance operational efficiency.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, solution leads, and business teams, to provide data-driven decision-making solutions that optimize business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Modeling & Visualization:
   • Design, develop, and deploy complex data models, queries, reports, and visualizations to support a wide range of supply chain use cases.
   • Build and optimize Tableau dashboards that deliver key insights and drive actionable, data-driven decision-making.
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
2. Data Pipeline Development:
   • Conduct unit tests, troubleshoot issues, and create optimized SQL database queries.
   • Enhance and optimize existing data frameworks to improve efficiency in the development and deployment of data artifacts..
   • Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines to ensure smooth data flow across systems.
3. Collaboration & Best Practices:
   • Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver complex business requirements through effective technical solutions.
   • Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data analytics, data governance, and data quality.
4. Performance Optimization:
   • Continuously optimize data models and ETL pipelines for increased efficiency and scalability.
   • Ensure the optimal performance of Tableau dashboards when querying and displaying large datasets.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience developing and working with Tableau-driven dashboards and data analytics.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, ETL pipelines, data modeling, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, C#, Scala).
• Expertise in querying large datasets and optimizing Tableau workbook performance.
• Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
