
Cognizant Data Analyst Introduction
Cognizant is hiring an experienced Data Analyst to work on large-scale datasets and data-driven decision-making initiatives. In this role, you will analyze complex data, build dashboards, and generate insights that support product, operations, and business teams. The position focuses on transforming raw data into meaningful intelligence that helps improve systems, processes, and user experience.
Role and Responsibilities for Data Analyst:
- Build and maintain datasets, dashboards, and reports used for business and operational insights
- Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate system and process effectiveness
- Analyze user behavior data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Support A/B testing and experimentation with data analysis and reporting
- Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to enable data-driven decisions
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and data processing tools such as Spark
- 4+ years of experience working with large datasets and end-to-end data analysis solutions
- Experience in defining business metrics, KPIs, and performance dashboards
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms
- Understanding of automation workflows and data pipelinesmation workflows.
Salary and other Compensations:
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $96,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
