We are seeking a passionate and skilled Software Development Engineer (SDE2) to join our team in building next-generation contextual advertising solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, low-latency systems for large-scale ad processing, including web-scale crawlers, contextual classification systems, data storage solutions, and more.

Job Description

• Build scalable and efficient solutions for large-scale contextual ad processing systems

• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and system design
• Lead by example and ensure high-quality code
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement system architecture and design solutions
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers
• Architect and design complex, scalable systems for advertising solutions

Key Responsibilities:

• Build scalable and efficient solutions for large-scale contextual ad processing systems, including crawlers, data storage, and vending solutions.
• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and system design. Lead by example and ensure high-quality code.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement system architecture and design solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Architect and design complex, scalable systems for advertising solutions.
• Drive software development best practices and engineering excellence across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new and enhance existing systems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide the team in building innovative technologies.

Required Skills & Qualification:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
• 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• 3+ years of experience in the Video Games Industry (supporting title development, release, or live ops).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
• 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong background in building large-scale, distributed systems with a focus on real-time processing and streaming data.
• Familiarity with generative AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies in advertising technology.
