Job Description:
- Create test cases and perform different types of testing to ensure the product/platform/solution meets the required quality standards
- Expertise in Selenium automation testing with Cucumber and BDD framework
- Strong knowledge of Java OOPs concept, Spring Framework, and utility libraries such as JAXB/XML parser and JSON parser
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline and Git version control
- Excellent experience in JUnit workflow and file operations in Java
- Good experience with Maven build tool and its life cycle
- Profiling in Spring Boot and performance testing using JMeter
- Strong understanding of Agile Methodology and Scrum
- Knowledge of Retail Domain is desirable
What You Will Actually Do in This Role
On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and convert them into reliable automation test scripts. You will be responsible for identifying defects early, improving test coverage, and ensuring smooth releases through CI/CD pipelines. This role also involves maintaining existing automation frameworks and continuously optimizing test performance.
