DXC Hiring For Senior AWS Developer –  Bangalore

We are looking for a talented individual to work alongside software engineers, product management, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-value product features. You will have the opportunity to build scalable solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other cloud technologies while contributing to Agile development cycles and DevOps practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AWS cloud-based applications to meet customer needs and business objectives.
• Use test-driven development (TDD) to create robust and reliable applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software engineers, product managers, QA, etc.) to define and implement high-value features and product functionality.
• Conduct automated tests and implement monitoring solutions to ensure application reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a strong focus on performance optimization.
• Participate in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, and others.
• Provide coaching and training on Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices within the team.
• Contribute to functional specifications, product roadmaps, and technical documentation.
• Continuously learn and integrate new tools and technologies as required for the role.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 8-14 years of hands-on experience in software design and development, with a strong focus on SaaS or enterprise software solutions.
• Languages & Tools:
  • Python (preferred), Node.js, TypeScript, Java, PowerShell, Bash
  • AWS: Lambda, EC2, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline
  • Git, Jenkins, JUnit, Jira, Terraform (IaC)
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux/Windows Server management
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools and Agile practices (minimum 1 year)
• Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS and/or other cloud platforms (Azure, VMware, etc.)
• Additional Skills:
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with automated performance and load testing
  • Proficient in Agile development, Scrum methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Active participation in English-language technical meetings and documentation.
• Agile Expertise: Comfortable working in Agile environments with a deep understanding of Agile principles.
• Certifications: AWS certifications are a major plus.
• Development Experience: Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Selenium, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, C#, and Java.
• Performance Testing: Familiarity with test coverage, TDD, and continuous delivery techniques.
