Wipro in seeking for an Test Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation skills such as developing Test plan, End to End scenarios, Test Reports and Test metrics. The prepose of this role is to create a test cases, perform different types of testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at client side and ensure it meet 100% quality assurance parameters,

Automation/Manual Test Engineer Job Descriptions:

Primary Skills: Automation and Manual Testing prior experience of being a part of BFSI project is a must.

Experience: 4 to 7 Years

Skill set:
1. Test Methodologies and Phases: System, Integration, Functional, Backward compatibility testing, User Acceptance, Smoke, Sanity and End To End testing.
2. Test Management and Defect Tracking tools: Expertise in JIRA, Zephyr, ALM, Selenium.
3. Scripting Languages: Unix Shell Script.
4. API Tools: Good Understanding of API tools such as Postman and SOAP UI.

Required Skills:

• Expertise and Experience in Manual and Automation Testing
• Expertise in developing Test plan, End to End scenarios, Test Reports and Test metrics.
• Experience in Middleware application testing including Functional Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, and Integration Testing.
• Knowledge on Quality Management Processes.
• Expertise indifferent types of testing such as  Functional Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, and Integration Testing.
• Experience in testing Client-Server application ,including Functional Testing, Regression testing, System testing, integration testing and Backward compatibility testing.
• Proficient in Backend Testing using SQL queries on Oracle and SQL server.
• Experienced in using JIRA to create test cases, test reports, and defect logs.
• Familiar with HTML, XML, JSON, and Unix Shell scripting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, stress management skills, and quick learning, with excellent technical, analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Quality Management principles.

Required Responsibilities:

• Perform activities related to Production Support from ODC Set up
• Perform code reviews and performance reviews.
• Design Test cases as per product requirement
• Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning. 
• Analyse the errors and report the same for review
• Conducting unit testing using automated unit test frameworks. 
• Document cases tested and results.
